Recruitment for our mentorship program hosted in partnership with UA-WiSE for 2022/2023 has begun!
Our mentorship program consists of a unique trio format (an undergraduate, early career professional / graduate, and experienced mentor) and runs from September 2022 to March 2023. This structure allows the graduate student or early-career professional to gain experience mentoring an undergraduate student under the supervision of an experienced mentor. A total commitment of minimum 12 hours over the duration of the program is required, consisting of 3 virtual events (about 2 hours each) and a minimum of 6 hours outside of the program’s formal events. A certificate of completion will be issued upon completion.
– October 27, 2022 ( 6-7:30 PM MT) – Introduction Event
– January 12, 2023 (6-7:30 PM MT)– Professional Development Event
– March 30, 2023 (6-7:30 PM MT) – Professional Development Closing Event
*Optional: Potential for in-person mixer in Edmonton (not mandatory for program completion), will be dependent on program budget and current health and safety guidelines.
